The course explores Sufficiency as a Rule of Evidence as stated in Clause 1.8 of the Standards for RTOs 2015. On completion of this course students will be able to:
Describe the requirements of Sufficiency as a Rule of Evidence
Describe the characteristics of quality evidence
Identify assessment requirements that relate to quantity of evidence or other assessment evidence factors
Describe the characteristics of reliable evidence
Identify assessment tools and instruments that will not draw sufficient evidence to make a competency decision.
Identify and describe assessment implementation issues that result in the collection of insufficient evidence
Describe techniques and strategies to ensure assessment tools are implemented in a way that ensures the collection of sufficient evidence.
